This is the second CD with trombonist Vincent Nilsson on Storyville. (The first CD was: "Jazz Trombone Spirituals" Storyville 1014240) Swedish born Vincent Nilsson lives in Sweden but work in Denmark. He has been a prominent member of the Dan-ish Radio Jazz Orchestra for many years. He likes to play gospel and spirituals and has chosen musicians from Ghana, Cuba, Nigeria,USA (Pianist Horace Parlan) and Denmeark (Bassist Bo Stief) for this CD. You will hear some of the most popular spirituals like When The Saints Go Marching In-Swing Low, Sweet Chariot-Going Home-Deep River and Roll Jordan Roll
